Word Splash! combines all the fun of coloring with a large database of simple vocabulary for your
child to practice.
With a brightly colored design and lots of creative coloring sheets, children can delight in the joy of
art and coloring while memorizing words.
How It Works
- Choose a category of word: Word Splash! offers several options for word categories, allowing kids to expand and practice their vocabulary.
- Guess the letter: From there, your child can guess the letters in the word chosen by the game within the preselected category. The game encourages kids to learn more words to be able to guess faster and beat their high score!
- Color the picture: With every correct guess, a color gets added to the coloring sheet. Once all the letters are guessed, the coloring sheet will also be completely filled in.

Word Splash! does not punish kids for getting answers wrong.
Instead, the game attempts to encourage kids to perform better by:
- Using the joy of coloring to reward them for correct guesses
- Displaying scores at the end of the game to encourage kids to try to guess faster

Word Splash features intuitive, simple, brightly colored designs that rely heavily on symbols
rather than words, making it perfectly adapted for smaller children just learning how to read.
In-game, there is an on-screen keyboard to avoid any trouble younger ones may have with fine motor
movements in relation to a traditional keyboard.
Previously guessed letters light up green (correct) and red (incorrect) to give a simple visual way to
keep track of previous actions.
